BURN AFTER READING: Set sketches-page 1
This job required a range of set visualizations from alterations of location photos to more traditional hand sketching.
At far left is a photo of a long hallway which would become part of the Russian Embassy. Near left is the altered shot that reflects the floor and wall panels we added to the location.
Below is a sketch of of an elegant diplomats office in the Russian Embassy. The diplomat in question had no name, so I jokingly said that he was Boris Badenov. I assumed that everyone would get the joke, but I was wrong. I noticed that all of the plans and elevations of the set had the name "Boris Badenov's Office" in the title block.
